High Star Ranch is an eco-friendly self sufficient operation.  There’s lots of pasture for grazing in the summer, and our own-grown certified weed-free Alfalfa and Grass hay takes care of the winter.
                             
High Star Ranch has long grown our own hay for the horses here.  We are fortunate to have the ability to grow more than we need.  We offer the balance for sale to the local equestrian community.

The floor of the Kamas Valley is rich for growing, and High Star has its own irrigation source on site.  The combination, plus careful farming techniques, means healthy hay harvests for healthy horses, and a weed free certification for the crop.
