The Best Cuisine Features the Best Ingredients

Before High Star Farm was even open, Matt Harris, the Chef du Cuisine at J&G Grill (the Jean-Georges Vongerichten signature restaurant at The St. Regis Deer Valley,) sat down with Carol Allen and Morgan Decker to describe the high end produce he sought and review a planting and harvest schedule that would fit the needs of his restaurant for fresh, local ingredients. Today, the farm is noted on the menu as a provider to High West Distillery in Old Town Park City and is a featured supplier to Talisker on Main, the new Shabu, Deer Valley’s Goldener Hirsch, and the Glitretind restaurant at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.  Why do the top chefs in town go to the extra effort to source their produce locally from High Star Farm?  Because they know the best cuisine is a culmination of both talent and the freshest ingredients.

High Star Farm is also starting to partner with  some of the local ranches in the community in order to offer a variety of organic products. Currently, we are working with RiverBend Ranch to provide fresh eggs from organically raised and fed chickens.
