After the entrance to High Star Ranch, the first building you come to is The Country Store. In times past it was an old milking barn, complete with grain silo. Now, it has been completely renovated with quarry rock on the outside, weathered wood verandas and a corrugated steel roof.  The 1400 sq ft building has a welcoming, rustic appearance that exudes comfort and Western style. There is a 42’ x 24’ dining and gathering room with movable tables and chairs, then separated by powder rooms, a cozy 18’ x 25’ sitting room with a cast iron fireplace and leather sofas. Rough sawn wood plank floors run throughout the interior and French doors open on to the expansive Grand Lawn, fire pit and a lake surrounded by trees.

The Country Store easily handles indoor gatherings of up to 75 people, and for larger indoor/outdoor events, High Star provides a perfect venue for parties of all types from summer through early fall.
