High Star Boarding

Boarding is an experience that comes naturally to High Star Ranch because the property has been home to countless numbers of horses for over a century.

The concept at High Star is to embrace a multi-disciplinary approach and there are currently two barns for boarding on the property with another full size arena with stables in the planning stages.
Both the Western facility located at the north of the ranch, and the Dressage barn at the south offer indoor and outdoor arenas, stalls with runs, paddocks with shelters and year round pasture boarding. All the amenities are in place for the two specific disciplines including good arena footing, tack rooms, wash racks, on site veterinary services, and trailer storage. Training, turnouts, grooming, exercising, farrier services and even guided rides on trails up the mountainside can be arranged.

Top quality certified weed-free grass and alfalfa hay is grown on High Star’s lush fields, harvested, baled and fed to horses boarded in stalls and paddocks year round, and fed to pasture horses during the winter. Horses are supplemented with grain and vitamins as necessary. The boarding facilities are maintained to a high degree of cleanliness, safety and tidiness combined with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
