Noting everything from the sun angles throughout the year to the drainage patterns of the snow melt each spring, the owners have thoughtfully laid out a development plan which best serves the needs of a variety constituents.  Homeowners, horse owners, trainers, locals, and guests are all important to the smooth workings of the Ranch, and High Star is designed to operate smoothly and live easily.

The central corridor of the Ranch is most directly accessible from Route 32.  This core area housesthe Country Store, the Great Lawn, Lake Patron, the Cabins, various guest and buildings and the English training barn and stables.

The North Meadow is home to thirteen lots of an acre or more and views across horse pasture.  The North Bench contains most of the building lots plus the Western horse training facilities.  The original farm house on the property is also in this area and it has been renovated and placed back in service.
