Guided Trail Rides

Bordering High Star Ranch is the magnificent 2.2 million acre Uinta National Forest.

From spring, through summer and fall, riders are invited to take guided trail-rides up the mountain into another world from the one below.  Either riding reliable ranch horses or astride your own, equipped with refreshments and supplies, this is a great way to get the lay of the land and an experience to savor and remember.

Louise Mahoney, one of the owner/developers is an Endurance Rider with 20 years and 7000 race miles experience, and for her, trails are something of a passion. She lives in Kamas, and for the last five years has seen to it that routes, some old, some new around the property and beyond are kept open and in use. Always with safety in mind, guided trail rides can range from gentle, to moderate, to advanced and the possibilities for extraordinary wilderness experiences abound.
