Solid Matches and Consistent Progress
Jessica has the ability and experience to accommodate all levels of riders and horses with her training methods. She starts with an open, honest, and non-judgmental assessment of horse and rider which is essential to beginning a successful and rewarding riding experience. If the horse and rider combination is not matched cohesively at the appropriate levels for each the result will be frustration along the way. Therefore, it is essential that the horse match the rider's ability.
Once the appropriate horse and rider combination has been achieved, training sessions of about an hour each 5 days a week allows for the progressive achievement to the desired riding level. Two lessons a week for the rider intermixed with the daily horse training helps to keep the horse and rider progressing together. On average, one of the training days each week will include an out-of-the-arena experience to keep the training and riding experience fun.
Horses are groomed daily, they are allowed turn-out, and the nutrition program is tailored individually to each horse. Given the rigors of training and showing, nutritional support is emphasized to ensure performance and protection of the horse’s health at the highest level. Frequent health evaluations allow for early and appropriate maintenance or treatment where necessary.
